Major Projects of the future...

The constant endeavour of the Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board is keep augumenting the facilities available for the pilgrims to the Holy Shrine. Thus, while considerable development has taken place, yet newer schemes are being conceived and implemented on a continuous basis.

Some of the the major schemes which the Shrine Board proposes to implement in the future are as under:

  • Construction of Queue Complex at Bhawan to accommodate 5000 pilgrims at a time.

  • Redesigning of the Bhawan area complex of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji.

  • Construction of Sewage Treatment plant at Bhawan, Adhkwari and Banganga

  • Construction of Ropeway between Bhawan and Bhairon Ghati.

  • Construction of Dormitory Accommodation at Manokamana Bhawan Phase - II at Bhawan. For more details on the Donation Scheme, Click Here.

  • Construction of waiting halls, rest rooms and langar complex at Bhawan

  • Augmenting the supply of drinking water at Katra and enroute Bhawan.

  • Construction of Shankaracharya Temple at Katra.

  • Construction of multi facility Ashirwad complex at Katra

  • Construction of Darshani Deodi.

  • Construction of Pony Stand at Katra.

  • Construction of more Shelter Sheds on the existing track (both Old & Alternate). For more details on the Donation Scheme, Click Here.

  • Setting up the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.

  • Construction of Sanskrit Gurukul Shiksha Kendra at Charan Paduka, Katra.

  • Networking of the entire area by Wireless (RF) or Optical Fiber Cable and using information technology for better Yatra management
